On a scale from one to ten; how in love with yourself are you this morning?
If I can take a guess, I’d say that you’re probably around a five or six – if you’re super lucky. Most of us spend our lives running around on a very empty self-love tank, which causes all kinds of mental and physical problems.
If you don’t have a clear sense of why you deserve to love yourself completely and wholeheartedly, you live your life more or less miserably. You go through the motions, you do what you have to do, but you constantly feel that something is missing.
Here’s the cool thing: it’s not that difficult to experience more self-love, more body-love, more peace of mind and more freedom of self-expression. Yes, it does take some time and yes, it does take some work, but overall, it’s pretty simple and definitely achievable for every single woman on this earth.
One of my favorite ways to fill my self-love tank is to write down all the reasons I love myself; all the things that make me different, unique and me.
Sitting down for an hour brainstorming why I’m a rockstar is often the most fulfilling way of spending my time because it raises my self-worth, my self-confidence and my level of happiness.
Writing self-love lists gives hope, fulfillment and peace of mind. It makes you laugh, sometimes cry. It makes you smirk and sometimes sigh.
