We Read ‘Why Men Love Bitches’, Here are 6 Things To Learn From It

I grew up with access to Cosmopolitan and, didn’t know back then that it was all crap that sold ways to self-police and self-silence your own self to suit to the patriarchal male preferences and likes of the entitled alpha males. Young girls look for advice that may soothe their hormonal itch to appeal to their masculine counterparts, and in a society where there is only way form of sexuality and that is straight or heterosexual, the pressure to appeal to men becomes so much more.

Looking for clues, we wind up at places like Marie Claire, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and cheap-ass teen magazines that tell you celebrity gossip that is all about boys. The dating and sex advice really rile you up to be more in accordance with the male taste, forgoing how and what you may want to be if exposed to the right stimulus.

Are you sick of the shit that your baby cousins, friends, sisters and female youth gets exposed to? Not quite yet. The dating guides, the weird women influencers with all the dating advice in the world, sex advice and what not, and in the world of Instagram and Facebook it is only getting worse. Here’s a book that I learned about from the Glamour Magazine UK, I gave it a read to break down its essential message into more palatable portions. Here’s the Good and the Bad from the book:

1. Aging, Body Positivity and Media: Good

To get a good set of 6 pieces of advice, I had to go through the complete manual. With so many offensive things such as its name, and the usage of the term ‘ho’ and whore in a derogatorily cool way and whatnot was a spoonful of too much. Other than that, some things in spirit weren’t wrong. However, I strongly felt that love is not about games, but also, sadly, it is true that not everybody willing to give you love will be able to live up to it, and at some point, you or the other person will fall out.

Instead of keeping your guards up all the time, just try to keep it close and live the moment instead.
